I Love These Mans

These are the men who made me want to be a comedian.

Broken Heart

It breaks my heart that Eddie Campbell has stopped updating his blog. It was the BEST.

If you’re a fan of indie comics, it’s just a treasure trove of great stuff about comic book art and comics in general. Go read it and see why my heart is in pieces.

Mr. Show ‘The Story of Everest’

We love this sketch. We wish it was one of ours.

I Get Wet – Something To Do One Night

If you ever happen to be up at 3 in the morning, phone your parents, tell them you’ve written a poem and read them out the lyrics of ‘I Get Wet’ by Andrew WK. Do this every single night, using a different Andrew WK song, until your relationship develops beyond the wholesome and becomes something spiritually divine.

We’re Intae Steve Brule

Avengers #89

I’ve been reading some old comics recently from the 60′s and 70′s. I particularly enjoy the Avengers stories of Roy Thomas. There were a lot of things I liked about issue #89 (from 1971) but I especially loved the fact that it contained the words ‘Hurtle toward a gaping aperture of nothingness’. I’ll be calling people who piss me off  ‘gaping apertures of nothingness’ for the next wee while to see where it gets me in life.

I also love the fact that the villain, Annihilus, asks, “And this one dares hurl his impotence against me?” This is what gets asked about me when I turn up at orgies in the homes of the gentry.

Was there really any need for the prostate examination though?
