Hi!
Some people have been emailing asking where it is that me and Iain write.
Well, we’re sitting right now in our office at the top of the Toolbooth Steeple in Glasgow Cross. That’s where all the stuff for Burnistoun Series 2 has been written so far.
So next time you pass by the steeple, give us a shout!
And thanks to Glasgow City Council for letting us do our thing at the heart of the city!
Pleased to hear that people from all over the beautiful planet of Earth are watching our lift sketch. Our international sources are telling us that it’s particularly popular in Russia and India. Apparently it’s not just us Scots who are up against it when it comes to voice recognition technology.
That’s the news official. Burnistoun is coming back for a new series on the BBC. We’ll be filming it later in the year and it’ll be smashing right through your telly screens early in the new year. This gives us time to get some really muscular, tanned torsos instead of the shameful, decrepit bodies we presented you with in series 1.
Thanks for the support you’ve given the show. We plan to reward you with pleasure.
Signed.
The Boys.
Posting this one again because we called the hung parliament first and because we Glaswegians like to say the word ‘apropos’ at every available opportunity.
How apropos.
(It says Theme Quadro up there because that’s what we’re calling ourselves now.)
Tonight Burnistoun is ERASED from the iPlayer. The whole series is there for you TODAY ONLY. Final push. Go on!
Now that the last episode of Burnistoun has come and gone, you can help any withdrawal symptoms you might be feeling by following the Burnistoun boys on Twitter – Iain Connell is here and Robert Florence is here. There is also the Burnistoun Facebook page where like-minded folk are talking to each other about the show. Thanks for tuning in over the last six weeks. We’ll let you all know when we get news about doing a second series.
I think it’s up for one more week and then it all comes down. Hope you’ve enjoyed the series. Here it is.
