The Cybernetic Overfiend

“Why did you take that video down? Put it back up.”

That’s what YOU said. Each and every one of YOU demanded the return of the alien video that is called The Cybernetic Overfiend. Are we going to let YOU all down when YOU screamed yourself hoarse that we must once more give it its rightful place on YouTube? Fuck, naw!

It was great filming that video. In case you’re wondering where Robert and me are, we’re the ones throwing the eggs. Allan Miller is the guy playing the Cybernetic Overfiend – go read his blog. When you imagine filming a sketch where you’re going to stand at the side and pelt the guy in it with eggs, then Allan is the only choice for the role of the peltee. You know that no-one is going to be funnier at taking eggs in the face than Allan Miller. We shot it (secretly, like a pure bunch of renegades, man) on the roof of the old BBC Scotland building in Glasgow. In case you don’t know, eggs stain brickwork and we couldn’t get the big egg splatters off the wall. When they pulled the old Queen Margaret Drive building to the ground we, quite literaly, had left our mark on it. The mark of eggs that had missed Allan Miller’s nut.
